Wedding Flowers
When selecting your wedding flowers, be aware of the original location of your flowers. For instance, some flowers are imported from developing countries which may be high in pesticides. Try finding a florist that can get flowers that are local, organically grown. One online option to try is OrganicBouquet.com.
You can also try using dried or silk flowers as an eco friendly alternative. And try to reuse your wedding flowers by using your ceremony flowers as table decorations at the reception. After the party, donate them to a local hospital or senior citizen center or send them home with your guests.

Hi. I just wanted to say that I don’t think silk flowers are a good environmentally friendly alternative to real flowers. Silk flowers are plastic and synthetic fibers, and they usually end up in the garbage. They are also made in factories, mostly in china where people are not being paid fair wages. If you can’t find organic or locally grown flowers get creative with reusable or biodegradable materials. Potted plants are also a good alternative.
